Social Web is self-hosted software operated by Little Souls ("Little Souls", "we", "the operator") to schedule and publish the operator's own original content to the operator's own connected social media accounts. This policy explains what information the software handles and how. The software connects only to social media accounts that Little Souls itself owns, on Pinterest, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube and Bluesky, using each platform's official API.

1. Information we handle

• Authentication tokens. When you connect one of your social accounts, the platform issues an OAuth access/refresh token. These tokens are stored, encrypted, on the operator's own private server, solely to publish on your behalf.
• Account profile basics. The connected account's display name and avatar are retrieved from the platform only to label the account inside the app.
• Content you create. Posts, captions and media you schedule are stored on the operator's server until published or deleted.

We do not collect data belonging to any other person, and we do not access content from accounts you have not connected.

2. How information is used

Solely to schedule and publish the operator's own content to the operator's own accounts through each platform's official API. We do not use it for advertising, profiling, or any unrelated purpose.

3. Sharing and selling

We do not sell, rent, or share any information. The only transmission is sending your content to the specific platform you chose to publish to, via that platform's official API.

4. Retention and deletion

Tokens and content are retained only while needed. You can disconnect any account at any time, which removes its stored tokens. Deleting content in the app removes it from the server.

5. Security

The software runs on a private, access-restricted server. Stored credentials are encrypted, and the application is protected behind authentication.

6. Platform data and compliance

Use of each platform's API is subject to that platform's developer terms and policies, and any data obtained through those APIs is handled in accordance with their requirements.

7. Your choices

You may disconnect any connected account at any time and may request deletion of any stored data by contacting us.
